Dunno what you'd call mine, it's a compilation of 30 page fantasy short stories, I'm thinking of about 4 or 5. They revolve around the same character, but over different periods of his immortal life.
First one is called 'Tale of a Man': about a man from outside the world crashing into reality, he's a homeless wanderer exploring the world and rebuilding his character from the blank slate he arrived with. Sort of intended for the reading as an introduction to the world more than anything.
I'm writing another called 'Savages': where he joins a tribe of nomads who are harassing a colony of civilized men, but the protagonist is secretly trying to find a way of assimilating the resistant natives, instead of fighting with them. I suppose I'm trying to write about the inevitable sorrow that comes with trying to fight back against a more superior society, as it encroaches into your domain.
