If you disconnect it for a while the ads go away and you get some nice prints. Also there are jailbreaks online to get rid of them. As long as they dont advertise in-book i could care less, its not like it effects me in anyway.

Whats really creepy is how often the kindle gives me advertisements for books that i have pirated and have on my kindle already.

To be fair the only reason I got a Kindle was to read amateur writing and hard-to-find books. And Doujinshis. I have shittons of hardcopies and if it's a book I truly like, I will own physical.
