Writing is better than reading. When you write, you are actively engaging in the process of creating something. Even if you write nothing of importance to anyone else, or even yourself... what you are doing is still important, because you are making something - which is what we were all meant to do. Any you are making something not just with your mind, but with your hands; your body. Writing and the process of writing is art; an expression of the soul; the exercising your imagination. Turning a blank piece of beautiful, smooth paper into something meaningful and beautiful with the use of what would otherwise be an inherently useless pen, making contact with said paper and moving said pen this way and that to create the whispy, curly, gorgeous personal interpretations of the way each letter of the American alphabet looks, and putting them in the combinations you, and only you yourself, choose... writing is for the introspective man; the thinking man.

When you read, you are no better than the couch potato who sits on his sofa all day. By reading, you are just like the lazy watcher of the mindless drivel that is on broadcast/cable TV or Netflix/Hulu. You are like a sheep, a retard; you let others do your thinking, working, creating for you. You are everything that is wrong with today's society and your only usefulness comes from the fact that without you, it would be difficult for those of us on top to make money from you and have power and control over the majority of people.

It's for this reason and others that writing is better than reading.
