ITT: SHITTY libraries

WHAT KIND OF A SHITTY EXCUSE FOR A LIBRARY DOESN'T EVEN STOCK PLUTARCH'S LIVES OR EVEN PROMETHEUS RISING. ABSOLUTE BULLSHIT.

Does anyone else have a completely shit tier library/libraries near them? I can't be alone in this. I hope

They don't want to get bombed by Christfags for carrying that book, most likely. Pretty much everything in that book is insanely triggering to most religious people.

Exactly. It goes way beyond fedora shit and hits dogmatic organized religion where it hurts, that is it points out in great detail the ways humans are fallible and project their limited notions onto things they claim are beyond them. That's just the beginning of it. the book also makes a strong case for total self-determination, which distresses all kinds of people who are comfortable with the Devils they know.

To add to this, I wouldn't say it "debunks" religion or Christianity so much as it argues that all faiths are onto something important at their core, and are quite similar in the psychological (bit on the whole rather base) needs they meet, and do a lot of damage by denying the truth found in other faiths. Basically it says that your religion may be a good start but it's details are pretty much inconsequential, which is pretty hard to take of you think those details are everything.

Dude it's freely, not even pirating, available online in a well-formatted PDF. Just search it. And yeah it's definitely the most interesting nonfiction I've read so far.
