Hello, I have been watching movies about older men and younger girls/women relationships/friendships and wondering if there were any books on the topic.

I've watched leon the professional and detachment and got depressed. Books last longer than movies so that's why I'm looking for books instead of movies. I've looked up for some but they are all for women( females perspective, boo hoo evil married bdsm man etc). Granted I was looking on goodreads.

Things I'm looking for:
boy/man is depressed/suicidal meets girl, girl changes him.
Doesn't have to be action. Prefer coming of age like Perks of being a Wallflower, its kind of a funny story etc.

maybe something like Detachment or Leon where depressed guy meets fucked up girl.

Warning: not looking for a playboy chad kind of guy please. Sounds like im looking for erotica but im not just wish i had a little sister or a little girl to take of me and I her. Movies give me 2 hours of escape. I want to escape for days (takes me ages to read through a book)
