I started reading books "seriously" about 2 months ago, so far i readed some entry level books like, Norwegian Wood, Catcher in the rye, brave new world, the stranger... And now im really interested in reading infinite jest after reading some coments on it and watching a few dfw interviews, but im scared that the book will be too much for me because im a total pleb. ¿Should i buy it /lit/?

Im quite open minded to art and i really like avant garde films and music, so i dont mind if i dont understand the book at first but im afraid of buying it and then abandon it after the few hundreds of pages :(
