Ive found that most people writing about the "drug experience" tell a very acute and likewise inaccurate story.
Now, junkie memoirs like the Basketball Diaries and Junky are what I personally like because they're not trying to vocalize a generation or define an experience that should be had instead of studied. They just tell their story or like Welsh, make them up decently.
