What are /lit/'s opinions on Jung?
Psychiatry, psychology, philosophy, mysticism, archetypes, the collective unconscious, symbolism.
Any Jung will do. I'm just really surprised I don't see more talk about him on here.

ps. I'm fully aware that JUNGle does not pronounce his name correctly.I was stoned and it seemed like a good idea.

I guess it'd depend on a near infinite set of specificities of how one thinks and feels about their mother. I'd need more to go on and I would only blindly speculating.

As is the case with psychotherapy in general. I didn't read him so much for psychotherapeutic theory so much as archetypes and the unconscious. I have a DMT molecule tattooed on my back, so that tells you about all you need to know.

I have and I would not advise it. Apart from it being one of the worst for you physically and emotionally with repeated use, it just destroys your brain. The psilocybin in the mushrooms is so similar to the neurochemistry your body already uses every day that you metabolise it in a few hours. Your body knows what to do with it. Don't taint psilocybin with amphetamines.

I've been that guy and i've done a lot of drugs with that guy. But that was a good 5 years ago now. I've got a job and college plans now and I only smoke weed. Even quit cigs 6 months ago, which was like monumental symbolically for me, dropping my need to be constantly cheaply gratified and how that reflected in my emotional underpinnings. Look at that, brought it back to jung.
