Hitmonlee has always been the better choice, even way back in Gen 1 (at that point it was because Hi Jump Kick was the only ok Fighting move, but still). Hitmonchan was the terrible one. Then Top's bounced all over the place from good to bad, but it's still better than Chan.

It was RU in Gen 5, at least. Barely RU, but RU nonetheless. Firmly NU in every other generation that has an NU though.

"Ruling"? The tiers are done by what people use. No one uses Hitmonchan because it's a load of shit and is only really good for strong Mach Punches, everything else is done better by someone else.

It's NU, it's rather solid in NU, leave it at that.

Wouldn't most Pokemon fall under the category of bestiality and not furfaggotry? Mostly Gen4-6 Top was the superior of the 3 and kind of still is. But it bounced around from being solid in 4 then peaked to excellent in 5 especially in Doubles where it was actually top tier. Then 6 hurt it pretty badly and it's gone back down to just decent.

Pretty much, it's even been noted that the franchises main problem is it appeals more with teens and older now. The children of this generation aren't picking up Pokemon as much as Gamefreak would like.

It was literally one of the best Rapid Spinners in the game (Spike layering was a thing) and had one of the strongest Fighting attacks (Revenge) that could reasonably be used.

It's just in Gen 3 you'd probably get more out of simply killing them dead with Lee and everything was a lot slower and weaker. It wasn't till Gen 4 where being fat and strong was more important than simply being strong.

Yeah, basically if they're going to get a new audience they're going to need to make a proper reboot. Or at least a side series so we can still port our bros over.

My hopes were up when they kept pinning Gen V as a reboot in the marketing, but they just renamed the routes and called it a day.
