Everything about them screamed suffering and despair, and yet they ended up as an happy couple wandering around the world.

It's a very strange and abrupt plot thread, to tell you the truth. Marie becomes a lot less powerful and loses a lot of her personality. Then you had romantic music playing over flashbacks of child murder and implied cannibalism.

Seriously, S2 really dropped the ball. All of the buildup in S1...Pfffffff, like a balloon deflating.

It makes both of them chill out immensely because they each see the other's side of Sergei. To Marie he was effectively her father and always took care of her, to Andrei he was a piece of shit who helped get his mother killed and then became a deadbeat dad afterward. Once they both had the whole picture both realized what they were doing was wrong.

Isn't 00 the only Gundam where characters all have confirmed nationalities?

I think it's funny seeing a Muslim forming a crew with an Irish (Lockon), Russians (Soma and Allelujah), a Japanese American (Saji) and so on.

Also I find it weird that Louise is Spanish since she has blonde hair and blue eyes
