But if you asked me what the story was now, months after it aired, I don't have a fucking CLUE. The story moved way too fast, but I don't think it it's a total crapshoot or failure there. There's just way too much in way little time to have a good understanding of the events as a casual viewer.
I wish the argument about "too deep for you" or "modern anime viewers don't get it" was true, but we know it wasn't made to be this way. Tomino and others have admitted to it.
tl;dr Deeply flawed but I still like it
