I'm laughing at your "people waiting to read all over the internet" line. Up until recently, getting translations for shit like TE and SM were pretty much a pipedream. Of course, things have changed with the official translations and Alternate projects, but the mindset two years ago was that we weren't going to be getting any of these stories anytime soon, so spoilers were a-ok. Some of this shit was three or so years old when the English community finally got spoilers. It was really bad in the case of TE, since the people were left hanging with the anime's ending and the conclusion didn't look like it was going to be translated for a very long time if ever.
