IIRC most of these Vandread 3 concept art were around as early as back in 2002 around the time they released the Vandread compilation movies. So it's kinda safe to say Gonzo buried the whole franchise a long time ago as it's been over 13 years now, last ever thing to come out was a LN called Extra Stage which was a epilogue of sorts to 2nd Stage.

The only problem is you get a Bones ending.

And boy do all Bones endings crash the train so fucking hard. At least when Sunrise shows go to shit they do it early, usually halfway so you still have time to get out.

Bones shows are always actually fairly good throughout the whole thing then they suddenly realize they were supposed to end the show with only like 2 eps to go.

Yeah that's true. I think they play it fast and loose with those transformations though.

However, if you go by this sequence from episode 1, which offers the best comparison that I'm aware of, the dreads must still be quite large. If we posit that vanguards are approximately the size of an F-16, then the dreads are about as large as B-1Bs.

And the point of Mejale was that as utopian as it appeared on the surface it had a pretty ruthless social structure of cliques where two faced behavior was the expected norm, being the entire reason Meia (and the rest of the pirates? Barnette and Jura are established as a couple through the whole show, but Barnette doesn't really mind that Jura wants a man to impregnate her (although it's probably just the sex she doesn't mind). Dita gets jelly when Misty latches onto Hibiki. Meia had two parents that evidently had a long-term commitment, and the Ouma/Fama dynamic seems central to female society.

But I'd say all bets are off once the entire populations of each planet start fucking each other.
