>>13377882About Hsien-ko, there are technically two of her. Now I don't mean her and her sister, I mean there are two separate Hsien-ko characters, but Capcom always forgets this.
The original Hsien-ko was two priestess sisters from ancient China, who invoked a forbidden spell and became a jiang shi in order to save their mother. The second Hsien-ko was two moddern day sisters who the reincarnations of the original, and were simply given jiang shi powers when they were pulled into the makai realm.
In terms of personality and gameplay, both Hsien-ko's are identical, but the primary difference between them is that they come from different time periods and that one is still alive despite her powers, while the other is actually dead.
Capcom ALWAYS forgets this detail, so when they have Hsien-ko in crossovers like MvC or PxZ, they just blend the two into one, and she'll talk about being dead and how she misses being alive, while also talking about video games and hanging out at the mall. It's a small complaint that only autists like me care about, but it bothers me to no end.
