New info on Macross Delta. A statue of the new Valkyrie will be shown at the Bandai Tamashii event on the 29th. It looks extremely similar to the YF-30's battroid so most likely the new lead VF for Delta will be the VF-30. Also Macross thread.

Remember when Kawamori actually designed COMPLETELY different valks?
VF-1, VF-4, VF-9, VF-11, VF-17, YF-19, YF-21?

I am hoping that it is VF-30 without the missile pod. So the new toy may reuse some parts but don't know how the back panel will play out.

It does look like the missile pod is gone but Kawamori did mention a year ago that it was designed to have the pod swapped out with other equipment. So maybe it'll have beam cannons.
