>>13405276Both Shiro and Kou end up in trouble in their series with their superiors and they're both enlisted.
Kou has a fight with Monsha using mobile suits without permission, and gets thrown in the brig. Shit, let's also bring up the time Burning told him NOT to take out the GP-01, he does anyway, and gets trashed. He wasn't punished for that.
Shiro gets court-marshaled for talking to the enemy. They don't punish him.
If we exclude Amuro from CCA, then literally everyone from every animated series series where they're accidentally enlisted or chose to be there has ended up in the brig or in some sort of trouble outside of Bellri from G-Reco, Sven from Stargazer, and Seabook from F91 and that's 45 minutes in length.
Even with that that, literally every character that you can name that has gotten into some sort of trouble either already knew there would be trouble from what they were doing or has been apart of their little group long enough to know better.
Series like ZZ and V Gundam have some of the characters do something stupid that puts everyone in danger, and maybe they'll get a scolding, or no one will do anything and these are moments that are late in the series even. But hey, as long as we single Shinn out as The Bad One, then I guess everything's fine.
You know what I don't get about you people, is that you're not happy when Shinn is doing something independently to help someone and he's just being spoiled by Gilbert by not executing him, and then you call him out when he just follows orders. I don't know what's worse, the shitty writing, or you guys not knowing what you wanted from this fucking character.
