Well, this episode isn't as retarded as the previous episode. It's just they're TOO slow, like you can skip the first part and you won't mis anything. I hope it doesn't turn into dogshit in the end.

Its a boring show that fails to capture its audience. Boring premise, cookie-cutter protagonists, lame villains, etc.

It's the kind of show that lacks any semblance of tension whatsoever and thus there's not really much reason to be invested in the characters either.

Ah, that's the shows problem
It's trying to be two shows at once and committing to neither.
I'd much rather get a show of just SoL daughteru raising and hijinks with Roman on an adventure, or conversely I'd really like a show about the military half of the show and get to know more about the state of the world, the antagonists, etc. while still going on an adventure, kind of a Zoids Chaotic Century deal.

This show wants to do both, and I think it's trying to pull an Eureka 7 in doing so - but it's not really managing to do either particularly effectively.

I really wonder if I would have any complaints about the show (other than the shit that's just bad, like Sogo not calling for Moura immediately in 3 or the fall in ep 1) if I didn't know how many episodes it's supposed to be.

Hell, the 3 they're currently focusing on are a crazy sadist that isn't interesting in the slightest, a super special boy that looks like a girl (that's also an asshole for no reason), and the veteran (the only one who's been mildly entertaining).

Yes. However, he and Otto are the only really entertaining parts of the entire series.

There's honestly not much to talk about, the premise is pretty generic, it had promise with gorilla gorg but then it turned into a talking plushie and house shenanigans. Lazy exposition aswell. Sound direction and CG is good though and Felia is cute.

Also unless these guys are super humans I strangely have a hard time suspending my belief in some scenes.
