I wish they kept the human-processor, the public would have been more educated and less dismissive of SF
>>13418597 >>13418390The human brain is a self-growing self-repairing system that can last reliably for hundred of years with extreme plasticity. In universe it's implied human are even smarter than we are because the machine probably tap 90% of "that urban legend".
Could an artificial machine best human brain ? Surely.
But if it cost less to keep alive an human, than it is to make a computing-system with nano/femto level self-repairing ability, the first win in term of efficiency.
Sure, it take more space per computing power. But it "cost less" per computing power.
>>13412803> it lack cheat codeThey could have been patched out. Super-speed and else being the rare flaws too fundamental to fix.
Also, realize that usually any slight imbalance can lead to instantaneous win of defeat. Especially with AI vastly more intelligents than humans.
If we are to take into account the 2 sequels (that were never made), the Matrix was rebuilt to deliberately generate a Messiah to satisfy human wish to escape in a controlled (but futile) way. Neo and Smith being error which couldn't be fixed in time.
