“Oh, please. I’ve already gotten used to having nightmares when Twilight invaded my mind. What’s the worst a little bit of chocolate is going to do?”

In case anyone was wondering, I used nothing but Sunset pictured for the dream on purpose. It's to give the idea that Anon's mind is mainly set on Sunset. With an image of her always present in the text to illustrate how he can't stop thinking about her.
I’m going to go to bed now. When I get up, I’ll have some classes to go to, but I’ll then come back and then write Anon’s epic arrival in Brothens.

It's not like that, Anon. I used to have a very similar situation and this green just opened that old wound. It hurts :_: She started all this,, I'd NEVER be with her if not for her initiative. Time passed and she broke up without reason, changed the city, stopped answering. I moved on, changed the country, got everything under control. Since the thread slowed down here is something to think about:

Would you ever marry a woman you used to love years before? Let's say she was the one one who decided to break up with you for no reason. Then she suddenly reappears in your adult life again needing help, being poor and taking care of two kids all by herself?

What Anon did in his dream was just unimaginable to me. You don't marry woman like that, that would deny her the very important lesson about life and making the right choices. You're not supposed to give happy ending to someone who never deserved it in the first place.

I wanted to tell you about how I felt that the broader story, while doesn't reach out and grab me like a novel would... is on the right path. I think there's a disconnect between some people and these - plainly - deep and muddied feelings for SS. It feels like I'm getting big glimpses into Anon's head. I get his obvious distrustful nature, but I don't think you quite ever sold some readers on what it was really like to be him. But you came close. He's quite worked up about life in general, he seems to struggle to let go of the past and stop worrying about what might've been.

The struggle feels very personal, really. I find myself wondering what part of the story is you, and what clearly isn't, and what parts are based off of your emotions and beliefs, and what might not be.

This is very good. I encourage you to keep it up, because writing is sometimes catharcism. This might not be. Maybe I'm projecting. I know I certainly projected when I wrote, whether I wanted to or not. Either way, I think I would encourage you to finish it. It does do wonderful things for your mind.

I don't know. I sorta agree as I'm usually all about people learning their lessons and not being soft but a lot happened. It would definitely take some time and the connection would have to be strong but people make mistakes you know , and you can't just hold on to shit forever and hold things people did when they were younger against them if they've shown they changed and regret what they did. That would mean she learned her lesson and if I loved her too then yeah I would. Life is too short to hang on to shit for no reason and keep yourself and others from being happy. You can't be scared to live just because your afraid to get hurt.

“Is someone there?” You ask the redundant question, having clearly seen the person in the canoe.

[Not really. I was just going to see if I could sleep through the day and then meet up with the others afterward so I can be awake if we go walking around at night.] You construct the lie in your head as you type it.

>Allowing your adventurous side to reassert itself once more, you step off of the bridge and walk around to where you can see under the structure.

As for all of your questions, I have already had answers planned for almost all of them that will come into play later in this whole thing.

The spaces between the lines are generally meant to give a more free and spread out feeling to the setting of Brothens. I have also done the same spacing thing when Anon was dreaming (Except for when he's not even a little aware that he's dreaming.), so living in Brothens could be compared to living in a dream come true. But trust me, Anon's not actually dreaming any of this. So don't worry about that.

Pretty much because no one actually reported what she was doing because Anon, Norman and Mary were simply avoiding the situation and everyone else believes she did it out of "love". Also, Anon still isn't aware that she's coming to Brothens, but he's still unwillingly suspecting it.

Adagio evidently decided to stay behind due to her spiked accessories triggering the airport security, and Sunset ends up being the one who flies with Aria. I apologize if I made it a little difficult for some of you to catch on to that, but how she convinced the two will be something that's answered later.

On a slightly related note, I remember how most of you wanted me to split the story into two stories.
Well, seeing how I've just reached the end of the second pastebin and close enough to the bump limit of the thread at the same time, I suppose that I could take a break from writing Time After Time for now and start my own new thread again with a new paste for the next part, and that will be the new story. But this will be after a while.
So I'd just like to know, would it be satisfactory for you guys if I ended it here with a few loose ends and unanswered questions, and the next part that inevitably answers all of those questions will be the sequel? I could also continue this as the same thing as well, but that would mean making this story a lot longer in order to bring closure to everything.
This doesn't mean that I won't write other stories for a bit and finish those up while waiting. This includes Life After Life, Sunlight Sonata, And He Came out Swinging, The Three Eves, and a couple more.

I've noticed that too. But then again, this is /mlp/ we're talking about here. Somewhere where the standards for a good story aren't exactly high. But waiting a while before making a new thread definitely wouldn't hurt. Though, I really don't like to keep people waiting when they have questions that haven't been answered.
To be honest, I would have taken this to Fimfiction, but I'm not too crazy about that place.
Anyway, I might pause this briefly either way, like how the other Anon said. There's only 18 posts left in this thread anyway. It will give me a chance to wrap up a lot of other stories in the coming week or two. And when I finally do get back into this story again (I inevitably will), I'll make a new thread for this. And the upcoming parts of this story will be the parts I originally wanted to write anyway, so I already have a good portion of it planned out.
If you want to see some of my other projects as I work on them, just look around and I'm sure you'll find me in a thread somewhere continuing a story from ages ago.

So what does everyone think? Wait until a while later before making a new thread or do it now?
