Yeah, they're not going to give up till we're dead. What are our shields? We need to take out the slower ones and ignore the fast ones for now. We have to break their formation. Fly towards one of the ships. Then we can turn around and fire on the three that are left.

We're not going to let them.
How about we fly towards them while firing and take one of them out.

Then we can veer off to the right and turn around again. Only problem with this plan is that the one survivor will run away. Though with our engines we should catch up to them.

Yeah, we've been doing pretty well. Our ship is great thanks to our engineer sky. Quite a few interesting things have happened. Not sure where to start. We've captured bounties and have been shot at a few times. Also had some ship battles.

as for adopting one the pros are getting a baby for free and getting to experience the joys of parenthood. I also liked being called mother and the little one was so cute.

Melee to 5 seems pretty solid. Otherwise it's a toss up between explosives, ranged, and magic. I think ranged is the most beneficial out of those, echolocation isn't used often and explosives would be better relegated to a specialist.

It's probably a measurement of the generator's capability to maintain the shield.
Whenever the shield is struck, the generator has to increase its load to compensate for the blow. If it's struck too much or too hard, the generator is taxed to capacity, and either breaks, or, more likely, shuts down to recharge and redeploy the shield.
The percentage is just an easy, albeit inversed way to identify how much more of a load the generator can take before breaking down.
It should be noted that I pulled all of that out of thin air

The only way I can think to make sense of it is that the shield is generated from batteries that are reduced as they are used. Regenerating a shield probably costs more energy than maintaining it, so l could understand it taking a while to regenerate after being broken.

The shields themselves stay at 100% as long as they're active. It's the generator that's powering them that's the key here.
Whenever the shield is struck, the generator has to spike its energy output to compensate. That generates heat. Now, rather than letting their generators enter an eventual meltdown, I imagine most manufacturers would have a cutoff point where the generator shuts down to cool (much like an electrical breaker), then reboots once it's achieved an acceptable temperature.
The shield percentage is simply indicative of your generator's heat capacity, only inversed. For instance, at 60% shields, your generator is at 40% heat capacity. It simply makes more sense to count down from 100% than up from 0%.
Shields overheating and cooling would also account for recharge rates. The faster the generators can cool, the faster the shields can be redeployed.

It varies between the type of "AI". The term is applied to any artificial thinking/calculating and reacting intelligence. This means that an inteligence that operates within set peramiters (Mass effect's VI if you will) is on the same table as an AI. They are all valuable but a real "true" AI is rare, not common like the first one encountered.
