“Sounds like a plan to me, thanks boss”
>”No problem. If for some reason you have any questions just call the store and I’ll try to get you an answer”
“I’ll be sure to sir, but I’m confident that I’ll be just fine”
>”I am too. But you should probably get going soon, don’t want to miss the bus”
“You’re right, but I just need to say bye to them first”
>Your boss nods and you walk on by him, straight to the registers
“Floral, Ast, guess I’ll see you in a couple of days”
>”Guess so. But we know that you’ll do great there, right Floral?”
>”Sure do. And if not we can get you wasted at the bar so that you can forget all about it”
“Gee, thanks. But the boss said it wouldn’t be too hard, so I’m not worried”
>”Well either way, just have fun out there”
“I’ll try my best”
>You lean in, aiming straight for Ast’s lips
>You know that it isn’t proper employee edict, but you’re not even on the clock, so screw it
>Planting a quick peck on her lips she actually presses back a little nervously, probably because unlike you, she is working
>But you both keep it short and sweet, soon breaking off
>Rubbing your velvety noses together you both stupidly smile, finally separating
>”Alright lovebird, time to go. You’ve got a date with that bus”
“He’s right. Take care Ast, I’ll give you a call when you get back”
>”You better, mister”
>Finally getting your last goodbyes out of the way you’re out the door, trotting down the street among the morning pedestrians to the nus stop a few blocks away
>Upon showing up, there aren’t too many commuters in the early hours, so you take a seat alone on the nearly empty bench
>That is until a lone bat pony stealthily slides up next to you out of nowhere
>”Hey, you the guy on all the posters and stuff?”
