They had their small disagreements, but it never seemed like there was anything close to contempt. It feels like they either don't notice how huge their differences are, or just don't care.
As a side note, a lot of the writers probably wouldn't have had Pinkie get fed up with Limestone or push Marble like she did, which made those some of the more stand-out moments in the episode for me.
