It's okay if not every pony is best friends with every other pony. Maud doesn't bear any ill will to Pinkie's friends, she just didn't gel with them off the bat as well as her sister had hoped. But is some of that circumstance? In Ponyville, Maud was away from any pony she really knew except Pinkie and weathering some awkward attempts at meshing interests. On the farm, with all her family around and only as many guests as she has legs, well, it's a bit more her comfort zone. Maybe that was the kind of introduction environment she needed all along?
In any case, she got to meet Apple Bloom this time. There's probably nothing about Maud's mark that she doesn't already understand, though.
