If she does, it wouldn't be permanent. What will most likely happen is that she'll be protected from whatever time shenanigans Glimmer pulls and saves the day somehow anyway.

At this point, I dont even fucking care what Twilight does since she'll ultimately fix everything. However, I'd like to see what lay in this alternate timeline for more interesting ideas of "what could be/have been".

Also I don't think the cliffhanger angle is something they'd do. I mean the EQG ending kind of spoiled it where it looked like she wrapped everything up before going through the portal.
