Well it isn't Halloween yet I guess. It was gonna be for a green I'm working on but since I'm a lazy ass who also has other things to do I didn't get around to it in time. Nice man. If I didn't work close to often I'd ride a bike. I wouldn't mind a bike thread after the spooky thread and dominant edition. I stay the fuck away from cars if I can and always stop for stop signs. I won't ride in the street impeding traffic like most cyclists that get hated do unless I have no other choice. There are just too many people here in fuckhueg SUVs and trucks going 15 over to risk it. Car vs bike, car wins every time.

I also don't wear the stupid lycra outfit or anything silly either. I just wanted a fast bike and a mountain bike is not.

Oh I wander all around the chan but /tg/ is still my home and /dzg/ feels like a nice campsite away from my homeland that I can bunker down in, relax, and share some laughs with people. This is the only general I frequent as well.

I like to run very loose games that involve more of the players choices, interactions, and simple calculations. Nice cozy games paced the way everyone can enjoy then when their hooked I throw'em in the deep.

My group is currently investigating what caused a guard tower on the edges of their Canyon home to go quiet and found it being assaulted by Orcs & Goblins and their ilk. The battles have been challenging but not over-hard. The Warlock ended up being at 2 hp last fight and they can't self-heal at all. When the battles over and the Gnome goes to heal the Warlock with the statement "Well I better because I doubt anyone else will help them."

I can understand this, but Adagio just seems like the quick type who values never being touched, but being able to do massive damage very quickly.

Aria seems like the meanest and most likely to get in a physical fight, so a class like that makes the most sense.

I see her as the nicer type who would sit back and heal her friends, or stay back where she can't mess things up, but still help out with arrows and poisons.

Alright, so this was all I was able to do today. You wouldn't believe how many interruptions I had during drawing just this. Always happens when I'm drawing.
Anyway all I could do was a roughy of the three. I might get to the background or something tomorrow.
It's inspired by BG9's Dazzling Daughters story and it's them on Halloween. Aria is an off duty cop from the 70's (I think) who was called in on a Saturday night. Sonata couldn't decide between a fairy princess and a knight so she's a fairy knight dragon slayer, her candy bucket resembles a dragons severed head. And Adagio wore a tiger costume 'cus Sonata liked it. Her hair won't fit so instead of a tiger she's a dead tiger who chocked o a giant hairball. I apologize if Adagio actually causes you to have nightmares. Let me know what you think.

You're lost somewhere between good and bad, but I'm honestly having trouble pinpointing what I like and what should be improved on.

You have nice lines. I think you should practice mouths some. What little is visible from Sonata's face feels a bit rushed. Her whole design, proportions and straight-front view remind me of those goofy little characters you find in english learning books for kids.

Adagio has a somewhat stiff body language. I think her knees should be closer together and head should be lower between her raised shoulders.

Sonata (especially her raised arm) and Adagio's proportions (but mostly Adagio) coupled with the fursuit's thicker lines and lack of colour really bring underground comics to mind for some reason. I think you could pull that style with practice, though I'm not saying that you should.

Oh, and Dagi looks too tall for a child. Just saying.
If I were you, I'd draw her wearing a leopard costume from Jossie and the Pussycats.

Adagio is supposed to be nervous, she looks ridiculous. But I agree about the knees. And she is too tall. The tiger suit stays though, sorry. It was part of the vision. Part of the story.

It's kinda there in my corruption green that I'll continue later today. They all share a bedroom and despite being a bit of a hardass Dagi does care about them. However it is quite easy to be discouraged when you're trying to do comedy but no one laughs.

There's not a lot for me to go on here, and I'm not really too big of a critic, but you might want to do a little more exposition, pad it out a bit more. Give a us a reason to care. Also the dialog is bland.
Unless that was just a sum up of what the story is and how it stared to see if we liked the idea or something. If that's the case I wouldn't mind some racing green. Keep going and then you'll probably get an answer as to whether or not anybody likes it.

I also have a personal grudge against bagels so I'm a little biased.

I agree with the post above which is my problem with green in general as it's not good for descriptions like black is. Unless this is going to be a short story that you want to be short, sweet, and to the point, I'd write more a mix of both. Give us what they're thinking and maybe even a description of the weather so we can at least imagine we're there.

Green is best for a short one or two post story, like what you see in those prompt threads. Prose is better for something you'd see on fimfic. A mixture is what is needed for 4chan as you don't want fifty posts for one story. Personally I don't like green as it leaves out too much, but a long story isn't fun to sit down and read in one sitting either.

Okay seriously now. One thing you should realize is that the story is inside your head and the reader isn't. A scene has details. Background stuff. The characters perceive the world around them with all their senses. The reader can only perceive that scene with his hearing, or in this case, sight. It's up to you to communicate all the datails of the scene to the reader through text. Descriptions of places and actions not only help get your vision across and engage the reader, but they also add meat and substance to your story. It's called "fleshing out" for a reason. It also helps develop your characters by showing how they react to various situations.

And speaking of perspectives, changing perspectives in a story is a useful tool. It allows you to depict a situation from different angles, and to avoid boring spots by having the perspective jump from a character who is stuck doing something to another who isn't.

And what's with your character responses? Nobody says hi, nobody takes offence to stuff, nobody questions another's reasons...Your characters should behave in a believable manner unless there's a plot/genre based reason for them not to.

My advice would be read a book and learn from that. Even something cheesy like Goosebumps is well written and can paint the details of the story very well for you to almost imagine you were watching an episode. Writing is all about doing what you can't do in an animation or live action, which would be thought, smell, and everything beyond a character like how instead of us seeing a character being shadowed by someone we can have the picture painted down to the thought of said creeper as to why they're doing this without them being the generic villain who gives a speech.

Biggest problem is detailing. This can be pretty hard to do, especially correctly. But like Monela said, read some books or good greens here.

I myself am more of a technical person so I'd say first thing is to always check your marks, capitalization, spelling, etc. Not that bad in that regard since I've seen much worse, but you do have errors.

Well, bards obviously.

That being said. Aria could be a decent facepuncher of some sort. From Monk to Barbarian, not seeing anti Paladin or Blackguard. She is punching faces from grumpiness not religious fervor.

Sonata is harder, i would say still Bard or perhaps some kind of Rogue.

Adagio...Not Cleric, the only one she worships is herself and while you could make a godless cleric dedicated to yourself in 3.5 that's such a borderline concept that i pass it by. Not Druid, the only interaction i can envision her having with animals requires ketchup. But she will definitively go for one of the caster classes, y`know for the whole "bow before me, mortals" aspect. I say Wizard for raw power or Telepathy Psion for the raw mindbending shenanigans available.
