>>25255346As an omnivore, I'm used to (and designed for) a more robust variety of protein, fat and carbohydrate food sources. I have a very low enzymatic digestion rate for fibrous sources of food like plant matter, which is largely, shall we say, 'unconverted' for my sustenance. This means I have to eat MORE of your kinds of food to survive and it taxes my digestive system a lot more to do so.
Sorry, Twilight, but that's what it takes to run my body using Equestrian cuisine. In fact, since I refuse to eat any animal source that's sapient like most bovine, equine and other animals here are, it's likely that in a matter of years, I'll be significantly malnourished and depleted of several essential minerals and amino acids that I have yet to see adequate sources of here in Ponyville. I am literally likely to die here.
