Yeah, I really liked her in that ep too. I was very unsure about her at first, because she was way too excited.

I thought she was going to be one of those horrible bitches who only wanted to be Twi's friend because she was super famous, but she turned out to be very cool.

It was a neat bait-and-switch kind of development that really makes sense when you consider how Twilight was back in Canterlot.

tbh that episode is one of my favorites for not only developing background characters well, but also developing Twilight through them. The whole "show don't tell" thing. But the main reason I re-watch that one is for toothpaste.
