Oh, and she was actually blackmailing ponies into voting. Also because her mom was the one on the school board, anyone that wasn't DT was going to be turned down. DT wasn't elected because she made her points poorly. Pip didn't get money because the school board was biased and not working in the interests of students.

Do you guys think this episode was an actual reference to the dem race? Pip is a weak idealist who has wan't to spend money he doesn't have. DT is the elite shoe-in who has political connections.

I'm guessing the show is full of libs, yet they paint DT in a negative light. Then again, production is in Canada, so maybe they don't care about Hillary.

Thoughts?

The show is only animated in Canada, the writers are America. That's why ponies use American slang, Imperial/Fahrenheit, ect.

Ponyland is an allegorical representation of our world, where race, sexuality, gender, and politics are presented in a way that is funny for kids, but carries a deeper meaning for the adult watchers.
