OP is rather crudely and vaguely referring to musical "culture of islam" so doom doesn't really count.

In all seriousness "islamic music" can only be taken to mean music about or explicitly related to Islam. The only such music I can think of is sufi music, which is of much greater relevance and importance than, say, christian rock, which is literally a joke genre

I think it's underrated, yeah. Bob abandoned the classic line-up so it's going to be shit on for having Cobra Verde standing in. But it has a lot of good songs. "Sad If I Lost It", "Not Behind the Fighter Jet", and "Jane of the Waking Universe" are my picks from that one.
