>>59979357Lowercase and onkyo feel very different from noise to me, though some releases can bridge the gap between the two. I wish people talked more about it too. There are many great lowercase releases out there.
>>60001660I wouldn't say predictable and uninteresting, but artificial and contrived, yeah. I can listen to three or four noise, lowercase, field recordings albums in a day, but I get sick of listening to too much pop or rock after a while.
>>59991037I'm into noise, industrial and some power electronics, I like the Cut Hands project too, but Whitehouse has always repelled me more than anything. I'm not sure why. I mean, it's meant to be repellant and disgusting, but then so is Throbbing Gristle and I like Throbbing Gristle.
>>60013582 >>60013797Aube is great. Cardiac Strain is a lot noisier and dirtier than most of the other releases I've heard by him though; on other records he keeps the sounds very clean and recognizable, like Seton (ceramic/stone) and Ricochetentrance (water). Embers (fire) is also excellent.
>>60014896I like his work very much, haven't heard this one though. He's got too much stuff out to keep track of everything.
>>60018828 >>60019167This exists:
https://undisclosedsounds.bandcamp.com — a series of untitled, anonymous EPs that are only identified with the sleeve colour. The ones I've heard all had this kind of "fuzzy electronic ambient" sound though, you probably won't find noise there.
