I'm not as into everything they have done like I used to be, but they're best stuff is still among my favorite music. Not saying I am retarded enough to buy into the patrician meme, but that is why most people "grow out of them" in my experience. They are also better live alot of the time and Californication and BTW, to a lesser extent, are mixed horribly. Like so badly it really frags them down. They re-released a vinyl of Californication that was remixed and added some parts that weren't on the orginal that was pretty good, but still not great and I have heard that with how bad the masters supposedly are, its likely the best it will ever be mixed.
