What does /mu/ think about artists who they disagree with politically? Can you listen to some but can't other because you find their views so abhorrent?

I think people who are incapable of challenging their own political/religious views are juvenile. It's a part of existing in wider society.

Then again, I don't like music that is pretty much nothing more than pure propaganda with little artistic value behind it, and there's a lot of reactionary and radical music that is just that.

Not if those views aren't integral to enjoying the music which they almost always aren't.

Christian rock doesn't suck because it's Christian but because it's shit music. There's amazing albums that are full of those views.

I was just using them as an example of an artist people believe to hold a certain group of views. I could have easily used a band such as Skrewdriver or another RAC band but they just came to mind first.

OP here, I'd agree with you, I don't tend to like Christian music because as a rule it's poorly made drivel, on the other hand I can still enjoy Hank Williams singing I saw the light despite not being a christian.
