For a band that put out on of /mu/'s most beloved albums (pic related), I never hear anything about them generally.

Does anyone have any insight into when/if to expect new music? What is Roby Burgos working on currently and why don't we seem to care? He's a absolute genius for his work on this album and YWNKW

You Will Never Know Why by Sweet Trip is great but very different...less complexity in favor of "catchier" indie pop stuff. it's quite good but nowhere near V:D:C

VDC is just incredible. Way fucking underated. The dumbasses running the shoegaze thread don't seem to give a shit. It's the best album to be labelled "shoegaze" since Pygmalion by Slowdive.

agreed that it's underrated but:

1. I don't consider Pygmalion shoegaze even though it came from a shoegaze band
2. that aside, Constance by southpacific is a wonderful and more recent shoegaze album - check it out

This better be good. I'm quite sick of everything that's come out of the shoegaze "revival" that isn't Deerhunter or LSD.
