How's your music career going? Any gigs coming up? Do you feel as though you actually have the potential to "make it"? Do you feel that your parents resent your life decisions?

Just doing music as a hobby, but I would say it's going well at the moment. A gig or two might be coming up, depending on if certain people can come through and if I have the time/resources to.

As for potential... well, I can always dream! I have a good job, so I'm honestly not all that concerned. I just love making music

decent. it's taken a major sideline while i try to finish school up, but even then i have a lot of shit on my plate

playing tonight at a place that has decent guarantees. handful of others through the month.

that was never my goal. but i've been told by many more experienced musicians that i'd make a solid full-time session guy, both in skill and dependability.

not my musical ones. they go to a lot of my gigs and enjoy a lot of the stuff i work on.

I'd be doing fine if I could get gigs, trouble is I still live in a small town and have to rely on friends or family to help me.

So in the mean time I'm writing and recording new material.

It'd be great if I could just play at a house party or something instead of a legit gig right now.

I have no job nor money for now, so I can't afford a pedal, good recording equipment and a good amp for my guitar. But for now I'm just practicing. When I have all the equipment, I'll upload my songs to soundcloud and youtube and see the freedback. But it's a long way 'til there.
