It's slightly disappointing.
I still don't understand why artists feel the need to release albums so close to each other. It's overkill, it makes it harder for me to grade their work or even want more, I'm overfed. Same thing happened with Timberlake when he released Disc 2 of 20/20, no one gave a damn and the music itself is practically irrelevant in grander discussions now. How impatient do you have to be? Couldn't you just release this at least until next year?
It's not as good as Depression Cherry, a lot of the songs are forgetful. The lyrics are a little eye rolling, bands like this shouldn't be 'political' they don't have the thought space for it. A couple of tracks are good though, the closer is great, and even though it's the biggest 'mbv' rip off you could ever create, Elegy to the Void is a great track.
Objectively, without bias, 5/10.
