My Dad was bugging me for like a week to send him some Boris recently, which was pretty rad. He usually listens to prog, dad rock, and classical though.

On the other hand, I'm pretty sure my mom just doesn't like music. Last time I heard her listen to anything was Tina Turner in the 90s.

My dad supposedly drank whiskey with Townes Van Zandt when the country singer was in SF. I thought my dad was bullshitting me but then when I read a Townes biography the dates for when he was in town and when my dad said it happened lined up.

He's obsessed with everything from the 60s and pre-punk 70s and after that mostly listens to Americana related releases.
