I was supposed to go to this industrial metal concert later tonight with my friend, but we got a word that the concert would start earlier than we anticipated and he won't be able to make it because he has a late shift.

now, i've been to many concerts alone, but almost all of them have been post-rock concerts or other non rowdy concerts where people just mostly stand still, listen and enjoy the music that way, but this one particular band performing today has pretty hectic concerts or so i've heard and i'm really anxious about going alone, i don't know how to get in that moshing mood alone, i'm such a coward, this really seems like one of those gigs where it would look weird to hang out alone.

any tips, i'm drinking vodka at the moment, but i'm still on the edge of not going.

i'm really out of my element here.
