Same boat as you at the moment fam.
My band plays with great drummers but the chemistry just isn't there. I mean we have it, but the drummer always feels disengaged for some reason.
We need to find a drummer who understands the shit we're doing and fits with the song. Not looking for buddy rich or anything, but they just give up and just metronome that shit, and it's frustrating. And all the really great ones we really want are already in 3 other bands and shit. Fuck.

My city sucks balls in terms of the music we're trying to do. Austin would probably much easier, but fuck that, it's oversaturated with bands and shit, and the city I'm in is ripe for the picking if we could only find a fucking drummer.
