this album needs way more recognition for what it is
i know its already a figure in the math rock scene, but im talking /mu/core in general, its such a good quality album

Honestly I love math rock and it's certainly not a bandwagon album but for the life of me I can't really enjoy Hold Your Horse Is or really any Hella stuff

It's a pretty essential and well recognized album in math rock. It's a great album and you wouldn't find a math rock fan that would disagree. It's not /mu/core because there isn't much of the album that can be meme'd on.
