For the three people who are still reading this thread, East JR / JR Hokkaido are beginning to finalize the service details for the Hokkaido Shinkansen. Service officially begins on March 26th, 2016 and there will be 13 regular round trips from Shin-Hakodate Hokuto as follows
Tokyo: 10 Hayabusa Round Trips
Sendai: 1 Hayabusa Round Trip
Morioka: 1 Hayate Round Trip
Shin-Aomori: 1 Hayate Round Trip
For the new terminus at Shin-Hakodate Hokuto, all 12 (Super) Hokuto round trip services between Hakodate and Sapporo will stop at the new station and the dia will be tweaked for interchaging with the new Shinkansen service. The Hakodate Liner will also begin with 16 round trips between Shin-Hakodate Hokuto and Hakodate as a shuttle service.
Naturally with the new Shinkansen service, this means the (Super) Hakucho, Hanamasu, and Cassiopeia will officially cease services on March 21st, 2016 as JR Hokkaido will have to finalize the switch from ATC-L to DS-ATC in the Seikan Tunnel from the 22nd to 25th.
