Also I've seen lots of messengers using cleats, wearing jerseys and wearing cycling shorts. You don't know what you're talking about. Sure, in colder areas like North America and Europe wearing cycling clothing isn't neccesary all the time but when it gets over 30 Celsius and you're putting down kilometers it's time to stop being cheap.
