While laughing at the Biking plebeians, let talk about how great Private Jets are. My personal favorite are Cessna Citation Xs and sometimes even Boeing 757s. >post your Private jets, laugh at Bike plebeians.

DJ Bike sizing question. Im curious on what size TT and wheelsize to get. Im set on a GT Bump 24" (20.5tt) or 26" (21.5tt) Im 5'6-5'7 and come from bmx background. Will be used for a mix of park and trails. Pic is 26"
Anonymous
>>893576 Shorter crank arms effectively lower the gear ratio, for example to make up for the 24" wheels if it has the same size chainring and cog as the 26" version. They also allow more ground clearance which will also be less with smaller wheels and shorter crank arms are generally better for pedalling faster (probably not a concern on a DJ bike). I wouldn't worry about it too much.

>>893579 Sounds good. the 24 is a bit lower quality but at a lower price point it will give me more money to upgrade. I just feel im too small at my height to whip a 26" with a 21.5tt around. Thanks for helping me make my decision

I just ordered a Saris Freedom Superclamp 4 bike rack. I need to get a hitch for my death cage to mount the rack. I know fuck nothing about death cages and related accessories. All I know is that I need a 2" receiver. Any suggestions on what specific type to get (I believe they come in different "classes" or strengths/qualities), where to buy, etc? I asked /o/ but those faggots weren't helpful.>inb4 only faggots put bikes on a cage I often ride from home but I need a way to carry my bikes when I do long-distance travels (as in driving to a different state).

Telling us what vehicle you are putting it on would help.
Anonymous
>>893698 Go to your vehicle's dealership and they'll show you exactly what you need
Not all cars can even mount a 2" receiver.
My 2014 Accent, and every other compact, for example.
A new receiver mount will run you around 200+ dollars in the great white north, and even ones off scrap cars can be expensive.

I hope that cager fucktard crashes its death cage. Pic unrelated

Australians, the Kask Protone is finally coming here. Who's getting it? What helmets do /n/ ride with?
Anonymous
Quoted By:
>>893773 yes, its really expensive for manufacturers to get helmets approved here, hence why it takes so long to get new gear.
we only got the Giro Synthe 4-5 months ago.

I saw someone in a bike shop with one the other day. Must have imported it? Currently have a Mojito, it's not bad. But I wouldn't replace it unless I whack it in a crash. Curious to how it compares to something like the Ballista.

I hope everyone enjoyed the debate tonight. We're one step closer to creating some wonderful, environmentally friendly coral reefs. The question is: once the cagers have been placed in the bottom of the sea, where they rightfully belong, what will become of the schrader valve? Will retrogrouch hipsters begin to collect them, much like with rim brakes and cloth bar tape? Or will they be relegated to a curiosity, for museums only?

>>893426 Presta valves are better for bikes because they're narrower, which means you don't have to drill as large a hole in a rim (stronger, allows for narrower rim profiles).

>>893426 >Schrader is fucking easy to use If you're having trouble with presta valves you must be literally retarded.
>If you need to empty it fast you can use a tool to pull the core Of course, because reaching for a tool and disassembling the valve core is way fast.
>What are the advantages of presta anyway? It's autistic-proof. Any autismo roaming the streets won't steal your presta-equipped bike because he won't be able to fill the tires.
