Recently I went to the best city in the world, Karlsruhe.
I went purely because of its reputation as a public transport powerhouse, having now gone I can say it is a reputation that is well deserved.

The city also has a number of bars and restaurants of good quality, and cheap prices. And at least whilst I was there, had a number of public entertainment events and activities to do.

Anyone else travel to a city/country purely for its public transport reputation?
