1. Purists - Only six/seven 0s or 4040404 are considered GETs. Everything else doesn't matter. These fags are living in the past and don't accept the fact that /b/ has over 646 million posts now.
2. Normal GET Fags - Quints or higher on fast-moving boards, sextuplets or higher on slow/dead boards (such as this), palindromes as long as they are seven digits or more on fast-moving boards, eight digits or more on slow/dead boards (such as this). These faggots are so autistic that they made up special rules for the value of a GET.
3. Obsessed GET Fags - Dubs or higher are GETs on any board, singles are GETs if called beforehand. These are the fags you see spamming Bateman images in response to a GET and quoting the post number several times in their reply. Most of these fags are doing it "ironically," but some really have lost their minds.
The whole point of 4chan is to have a conversation with other anons. A GET, especially a rare one, guarantees that somebody will not only see your post, but reply to it. Getting a GET is an excellent way to start a conversation or draw attention to a subject nobody would discuss otherwise. It's how you use GETs that defines you as an individual.
