>>888970>summonedThe spirit of the ice biker (the conqueror of storms, breaker of drifts, he-who-is-fearless-before-the-wind) has lain dormant within me during the months of accursed summer heat, begins to stir within my breast. Already I find myself unpacking boxes, searching dresser drawers to reveal the holey balaclava, the wooly fleece of unsurpassed heat retention, and the accursed missing glove (seriously, I know put them away together, where the fuck is my left glove?). ARISE WINTER BIKERS! MAKE READY FOR THE DAYS WHEN DRINKING TEA AFTER A RIDE WILL BE ESPECIALLY COMFY!
>>888968If it's 50 (with clouds and wind, but no rain) I'd suggest a short-sleeve wool jersey or wearing a long sleeve athletic shirt under a normal summer jersey, keep the usual cycling shorts (legs in motion generate lots of heat), but switch to lightweight wool socks so your feet stay a bit warmer.
