DJ bike sizing

DJ Bike sizing question.

Im curious on what size TT and wheelsize to get. Im set on a GT Bump 24" (20.5tt) or 26" (21.5tt)

Im 5'6-5'7 and come from bmx background. Will be used for a mix of park and trails.

Pic is 26"

Personal preference.
Im 6'3 and prefer my 19.5" over my 21.5

But would the wheelsize be a factor as well? I like small bikes so i think the 24 would be better?

If you like smaller bikes and are used to a BMX then sure, go with 24". I prefer 26" and long-ass top tubes though.

only question, 155mm cranks...its listed as a adult bike but sounds more and more like a kid bike, is crank size preference or is there some science to it

Shorter crank arms effectively lower the gear ratio, for example to make up for the 24" wheels if it has the same size chainring and cog as the 26" version. They also allow more ground clearance which will also be less with smaller wheels and shorter crank arms are generally better for pedalling faster (probably not a concern on a DJ bike). I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Sounds good. the 24 is a bit lower quality but at a lower price point it will give me more money to upgrade. I just feel im too small at my height to whip a 26" with a 21.5tt around. Thanks for helping me make my decision
