A 250 is not that wide, and you can filter with a big bike easily. You want at least a 250 because leaving the city and riding comfortably in the highway is nice

My 250 is less wide than wranons 125. It's a matter of perspective Tbph fam. I'm also pretty certain that if you rode a 250 like you do a 125 you'd get better fuel economy
Personal account: when keeping to 55 mph and being calm with acceleration I managed to get down to 3l/100km on my 250, which is similar to how a 125 Yamaha r would be ridden and fuelly reports 2.7l or so on them, except I have much more grunt

125 and 250s are close in width. 250s have literally almost double the horse power. You can actually cruise at 120km/h all day long and overtake, albeit not heroically.

Also 250s can do togue runs. 125s are limited too much by lolnopower.
