The whole design is just way too rounded. If they sharpen up the lines and make it more angular it wouldn't look terrible.

It looks like they took design cues from the Mazda 121.

And to mod it to a mediocre speed would cost so much money that you'd be better off just buying the competition instead.

If there will be a TRD version, then it would be likely to have LSD. If LSD isn't offered at all, there will be a bunch of aftermarket ones available sub 1k€. It is such an obvious thing for a car of that nature, that if the factory does not offer it as part of some kind of sport-pack then it will be offered by others. If the car handles well, it would be a common sight in FIA N-group rallies in the same manner that old Starlets, Corollas and BMWs are in EU. A cheap basis for that sport is already offered by several manufacturers as new (e.g. Citroën C2 S1600), but none of them are RWD. I am pretty sure that rally drivers are following this launch closely.

I meant Citroen C2 C2R2, which is the most stock rally car offered by Citroen. S1600 is pretty hard core already.

Sure it's not incredibly fast but it's rev-happy, the handling is fun, it's a simple/cheap car and it surprises most normie exec-mobiles like 2.0tdi audis, 320d BM's etc etc.

If the S-FR came anywhere close to the experience I have in my C2, but with RWD (and a low price tag), I'd be very tempted.

I like everything about it except the ANNNNGRRRYYY HEADLIGHTS and the REEEEEEEEEE grille. Make the grille take up about half as much of the bumper cover and round out the headlights and I would 10/10 buy one.

Plus I think our generation needs to stop lusting after multi million dollar homes and cars worth over 100k.

They're just not realistic for most people. Most people can only afford them when they're 65.

So relax and enjoy life. Save as much as you can for retirement but buy one of these fun little cars to stop some of the boredom of life.

I like it. I'd drive it. It's nice not being so serious all the time while wanting to look like a Donald trump.
