>Scan my vehicle >P0133 >O2 sensor circuit slow response Looks like I'll be trying a million things to try and fix this issue this weekend. What are you working on, /o/?

Bleed the brakes, check the lines to make sure anything you might have moved is intact and not loose. I assume youve owned this car for awhike, coz you never know what some other ass did. If youve got drums adjust them.

Hey /o/, I'm going to look at a manual transmission '98 BMW 323IS with 123k miles on it tomorrow and I was wondering if there is anything specific I should be looking for tomorrow. I ended up getting completely shafted last time I bought a car (My own fault for not checking the car over well enough) and I don't want to make the same mistake again. Any tips?

how about this crazy idea? If you got asspoked the last time, why dont you take this car to a shop you trust. Anyway, what should you check- >if its stock. if it has a aftermarket CAI... think really hard about it. >check under the oil cap for smegma (coolant pissing into engine) >get under the car and check for rust near the rear and sills >typical suspenion rattles >can you get the bitch into reverse with no problems >rust on front fenders near blinkers >also obvious shit like the paint matching and it not being on plastic. gaps also. just take to a fucking shop. also, dont trust the owner, everone lies about shit.

By posting up a thread like this the day before you look at it, you are making the same mistake again. Spend a week on bimmerforums before you inspect the car.

if you're actually serious about buying the car pay a mechanic that you trust to inspect it during the test drive, it's always good to get a second opinion

Sup /o/, /int/ernational here I have never visited this board to be honest, but I could use the help of some car "experts" I'm looking to buy a Mazda 323, pretty much the same one as pic related, but my dad keeps telling me it is a dumb choice. He'd rather have me buy an Opel Corsa or a similar 2 door cookiecan on wheels. Is it a dumb choice? Every review I read online tells me that it's a very reliable and cheap to fix car, and that's pretty much the most important thing for me. And I'm just in love with the way it looks. What's your opinion?

They're decent cars. What country do you live in? We might be able to make other suggestions if we know.

That's why I want a car that is pretty light and not a gas guzzler, but I still want it to be a normal car you know?

Been a bit since I've done one of these. Give me a picture of your car you're considering repainting/dipping/whatever and I'll shoop it. For best results, give me a sample image of the color. "I want light lavender teal" doesn't help help me as much as a sample car the color you're going for. >I can not do metallic to matte and vice versa. I am not good enough.

Had Mk3 wolfsburg golf which I enjoyed FAR more and felt so much better to drive than the MkIV GTI I replaced it with :( The MKV GTI I have now is absolutely fantastic. That car taught my wife to love driving (with a stick even). Had some serious issues with the lights but beyond that no problems. Unfortunately my wife has kinda annexed my car so now I have to find something new. I'm excited to try out some different cars I've not tried before (Yea I'm considering an FR-S, deal with it). For anyone looking for an pretty inexpensive car that is a fabulous daily driver, can function perfectly as a family car, or a drive your friends around car, and is great fun when you're alone on an empty road I can't recommend the MKV enough.

I'm looking to upgrade to a more fuel efficient vehicle. My current truck gets about 8mpg towing, does anyone have any experience with the new diesels?
Anonymous
New diesels have reliability issues with the new emission standards put on diesel. Earlier years like before 2005 are better.

>>13757292 For a performance car, very important. For a daily driver, how it DRIVES is what matters rather than how it sounds.
I bought my current DD because it drove well, and the seat was comfy. A I-4 hatchback is going to sound like a generic car no matter what.
If I want a performance car, it's gotta sound good. And so it's probably going to be a frustratingly expensive shitty-handling mess of an old muscle car because V8 burble.
