I need your help guys. I turned 22 and I truly want to realize my childhood dream of becoming a semi-pro/professionnal racing driver. Anything. Open-wheel, rally, touring. I have around 25k CAD, have an okay job and part time student. My choice is totally irrationnal. Would a 4HP22 transmission from an M10 powered E30 BMW work as either a replacement for my M30 powered E32 BMW or could I use it as parts. Both cars are apparently using the 4HP22.

Apparently the 4HP22 doesn't like being revved in park and neutral and mine died when I had the emission test taken. I'm not quite sure what is broken inside yet, just had metal shavings in my transmission fluids

Anybody have any love for z31s?
I bought two non runners for $1000 total. One was sitting for like 12 years, but it only has 150k on it. The second one is way less rusty, has 210k on it, and supposedly has rod knock. I've already torn the engine out of the lower mileage one and i'm planning on doing the timing belt this weekend. I've already done an EGR blockoff just for simplicity's sake. Anything else i should do while it's out? I have to swap pretty much all of the engine bay wiring because the last owner was a ricer and tore shit out before selling it.

Hello car enthusiasts. I'm in the market to buy my first car. I don't want to get some rinky dink clunker off Craigslist so I'm most likely going to go to a dealer. I'm looking for some advice from people who are far more experienced with this sort of thing than me. I have no idea how the whole car buying process works.

Without a dealers license you can usually only sell 4 or 5 cars per calendar year, various state by state.

So does that mean I could sell 4 cars in WA and then sell 5 cars in SC?
